Thank you for registering on the Worksuite platform and setting up your Mentor Profile there.  We also use Worksuite throughout each mentorship as a platform for you to share notes with your Program Coach after each session and upload the mentorship plan, midterm review, and final evaluation.  Having this centralized and shared resource makes it easy for us to keep track of our mentorships, follow along in the background so that we can best support you and your mentee and keep track of when payments are due to you at various points during the mentorship.  It also is designed to make it easy for you to have a central repository of your notes and reports related to the mentorship.

This guide will walk you through the process of getting set up with a mentorship on Worksuite before the mentorship begins.  For detailed instructions on how to use Worksuite during the mentorship, please see our guide to “Entering/Uploading Notes and Documents on Worksuite.”

Accepting the Invitation to the Mentorship

Once you have been matched with a student, you will receive an email from Worksuite entitled “You were invited to a mentorship assignment.”  Click on the blue “accept” button at the bottom of that email to accept the invitation and be brought to the mentorship’s page on Worksuite.

If you accidentally click “review” instead of “accept,” you can accept the invitation on the screen in Worksuite you are brought to by clicking the blue “accept” button that appears in the upper right-hand corner.

Signing the Mentorship Confirmation

Before the mentorship’s first meeting, you must sign the Confirmation Agreement where you agree to work with this student for your agreed-upon fee.   Please note that you will not have access to the Confirmation Agreement until you accept the mentorship invitation.

Before signing the Confirmation Agreement, double-check the mentorship assignment fee that is listed on the side panel, and reach out to your Program Coach with any questions.  The Confirmation Agreement for the mentorship is signed by clicking on the Documents tab on the toolbar on the left side of the page (which will have a red circle indicating that you have something to complete there).  Below is a screenshot showing a Test Mentor’s screen after the invitation has been accepted but before the Confirmation Agreement has been signed - the fee is shown on the right side, and the red circle on the toolbar on the left side indicates that action is necessary.

To sign the Confirmation Agreement, click on “Documents” in the toolbar, and then click on “Agreements” (which will also have a red circle indicating something needing completion).   As illustrated below, you need to click on the blue “Preview and Sign” to access the Agreement.

The student’s name and the agreed-upon fee will be automatically populated in the Confirmation Agreement, as illustrated below.

Scroll to the bottom and sign where indicated.  After you have signed the Confirmation Agreement and clicked the blue box “I agree” in the top right corner of the next screen, you are set up to begin work on the mentorship and to enter notes in Worksuite for the Program Coach to review.
